About Us; established in January 2005. PDM Automation was created on years of audio visual and electronic lighting experience, the foundation of this came from my career as a licensed electrician. Quite simply, it is a hobby I turned into a wonderful, never dull moment, always educating career. I’ve worked with many clientele over and over again, earning a reputation of loyalty, tenacity, humorous and above all, professional.
Not just limited to your home, the works extend to marine craft, mobile homes, holiday homes and farms local to NSW and interstate to applicable clients.
The design concept is simple. Every client’s level of computer and technology skills is evaluated and applied to a suitable system. The final product will always end in a user-friendly setup, no matter how basic or complex the construction. Systems are designed to have the availability to be upgraded and modified as new electronics and services are introduced to the consumer market.
Fully warranted services:
12 month labour warranty is on all larger installations, one hour service call charges apply to all clientele outside of this.

I have known Brad since 2004. At the time, Brad was the contracted electrician for one of the first companies in Australia who installed residential automated systems that integrated lighting, motorised blinds, audio / visual entertainment, heating/cooling, security, internet, remote access, voice activation, digital access to 1TB of music with artwork (System). The System had to be reliable because I am a quadriplegic, so any failures can seriously compromise my safety. During the install I found that Brad knew more about integrating the technology than the company who contracted him. The System cost $200,000 at the time. When it came to upgrading the System, I called Brad. His wealth of knowledge from having been at the cutting edge of technological advances since home automation began, means that the upgrade cost a fraction of the original System. This is because Brad is continually up to date with the latest hardware developments and how to integrate them most cost effectively. When you are installing a home automation System you need an installer with honesty and integrity because with advanced technology, an inexperienced client can easily be taken for a ride. Brad has integrity and honesty in spades. He takes his product personally and service after install is fantastic. Brad is always up to date with patches should Telstra make some stupid upgrade which has knock on effects to the System. A home automation System provides a wonderful home experience, but your world falls apart if something fails. Therefore, you want to do it right the first time, and have quality back up support to ensure an issue is fixed before it has consequences. Brad has it all covered.

Brad’s attention to detail is second to none. Following the first major installation for us in 2005 of a BOSE surround sound audio visual system we made comment to him regarding his excellent work, his reply – “I do every installation as if it was in my own home”.
